Don't flatter yourself too much.

People only talk/write about you because they are so disgusted that one individual could have some of the worst qualities known to any person, let alone woman. So it's only natural to write it out or talk it out so one could at least have a fair shot at trying to understand where you get off being so outlandish.

Devon and i rescheduled our slumber party due to unforseen circumstances. "Smoothie," As St. Louis Natives know him, was a great photographer and he will be missed greatly. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers as this is going to be a difficult time for everyone. not only that but tonight started off as a wreck all together. That news just put a damper on everything else. I'll update tomorrow sleep well. & be safe.

i don't think any of us could forget this day
but i can't forget it because it changed my life forever.

living in ny during this catastrophe
flying over ground zero only to see smoke
not knowing where my dad was
not knowing anything.... for days.
loosing family
loosing friends
loosing life
loosing freedoms

i think a bit of our hearts died with them.
but a new part of our soul was born.
the part where we now have the wisdom to know the difference.
there is no excuse for niavity.
we are the united states of america

keep these families and friends in your hearts today
as we pray and mourn the losses of all of those innocent.
i know i love and miss you all...my world, our world isn't the same without you.,
it's going to be a rough day for my family & i wish i was home with them.

i spent today on a respirator in the Emergency Room..
with a severe upper respiratory infection and laryngitis.
talk about awful.
but none of this will sidetrack me from giving
respect where it is deserved on this day.

There's not much to update. Other than the fact that i'm done with school...and so far i've passed everything. awesome right? except i still have one assignment that isn't done for my english class...so that's the last grade i'll have to find out. this weekend was awesome. I got to spend time with heather on saturday...we went tanning & caught up on things. Ashley came over and we just chilled... then passed out watching Juno. which might i add, i really was not that fond of. I don't know why but i guess i just didn't enjoy it whatsoever. I wish i could understand what makes a movie, a good movie. The night before i went to see What Happens in Vegas with Zach...and i thought it was super cute. Not the best movie by any means...but definitely a cute little movie with a ridiculously awful plot. but what can ya do. haha. t-5 days until i'll be home again....can you believe it. I'm growing so impatient. and the last thing i feel like doing right now is packing up my life and moving into my new apartment on thursday. That's going to be a hellish ordeal---especially because daddy is coming into town to help... and get this---he's STAYING at my apartment with me for that night :/ ahhhhhhhhh. talk about nightmares. hahah oh well... i just can't wait to drive home. it's going to be glorious. and he's going to be in a horrible mood the whole way. so i'm gonna have to brace myself. Yesterday, Christyn and i went to pointfest. that was an experience to endear. The people were absolutely out of control..and i actually got a little worried about my safety at times. but overall it was a great day. We spent most of it on Scary Kids Scaring Kids' bus. those guys are a riot for sure. we all had a blast...and by the end of the night there were tattoo artists on the bus tattooing the boys. partying til 2am was definitely well worth it. anyways... i'm going to go get ready to go to heather's and chill with her. off work for the day--so looks like i'm just gonna chill. & then hacienda tonight for lindsey's birthday. long day... i've gotta put the final touches on this paper as well so that i can give it to my professor tomorrow morning. i feel like the stress & dead lines never end. do you ever feel like they do? exohexoh <3 em

I'm writing this with hopes of an update later after talking to my friends at tech. But Please keep everyone down there in your prayers. Today is a memorial of a terrible day for them, and all of us. Especially as collegians--it was day that proved to everyone that no one is safe....ever. It affected those back home, who i hold so dearly, so much. and i too will never forget the worry, and upsetment i felt when i found out of this tragedy. All i did was sit in my dorm and pray that none of my friends were hurt.

Unfortunately one was not so lucky.
